Creating a more inclusive culture

As a leading global agribusiness, CHS can and should be a leader in building a workplace grounded in our value of inclusion – where excellence and growth stem from diverse thinking. At CHS, we’re committed to fostering an inclusive culture where everyone is welcomed, respected and empowered to succeed.

Our goal is to help us all understand ways to help everyone at CHS feel valued just as they are.

Our inclusion commitment

To build a workplace culture where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued, we are:

  • Centering our efforts on employees' experiences and ideas
  • Implementing strategies that enhance our culture and marketplace presence
  • Monitoring the engagement of our workforce

I love that everyone is welcome and encouraged to be themselves. I feel like a more rounded person being involved in Harvest Pride. In addition to doing my job, I can be my authentic self and support something I believe in.

Everyone has a unique story shaped by their background, experiences, and culture. By approaching each other with curiosity and openness, especially when someone’s experiences are unfamiliar, we can create a environment where everyone can thrive.

Through Mozaiko, I’ve had the chance to dive into the diverse cultures of my coworkers which broadens my horizons and makes me more open-minded. The openness and understanding translates directly into my work, helps me connect better with colleagues and approach challenges from different perspectives.

Employee resource groups

At CHS, inclusion is a core value. We are dedicated to creating a culture where everyone feels welcomed, respected and empowered to succeed. Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play an important role in creating an inclusive work environment. CHS ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups open to all employees. They promote an inclusive and cooperative work environment by fostering connection, understanding and support.
